 | Stacked (2010) 166cm x 103cm (65" x 40.5") This quilt combines traditional colorful elements from 3D computer design (checkerboard pattern, a golden oldie) with a subdued background showing vague reflections in the form of Sashiko patterns.  | Toverbal (2009) 128cm x 128cm (50.5" x 50.5") Toverbal is Dutch for gobstopper or jawbreaker, but a more literal translation would be "magic ball". I created the three-dimensional design using POV-Ray. Quilt detail. |
